LTYM Bangor a beautiful success

LTYM Bangor takes bowListen to Your Mother, Bangor 2015 was a marvelous success in so many ways. With the amazing support of our national sponsors, She Knows Media and BlogHer ’15 EXPERTS AMONG US, we saw 39 shows across the country. Our local sponsors included The Bangor Daily News, Cottrell Boatbuilding, ERA Dawson Bradford Realtors, Bangor Frameworks, Feulner Gallery and Studio, and Good Soul, formally Metropolitan Soul. Without the support of these fine local businesses we most certainly would not have pulled off such a fantastic first show!

The beautiful Gracie Theatre at Husson University graciously hosted our show. The folks at The Gracie were kind, generous, and excited to help us put together a beautiful show that gave our cast the chance to truly celebrate motherhood with Bangor. Thank you, Gracie theatre!

In the beautiful Queen City, we witnessed 12 powerful stories by a truly gifted and brilliant cast. The beautifully composed stories ranged form the heartfelt and tender to the laugh out loud hilarious and the break your heart sad. All in all, these stories encompassed the complex and amazing experience that is motherhood.

We were able to raise fund to help support our cause, Spruce Run Womancare Alliance! Through donations made during and after the show and including a portion of the ticket proceeds we were able to raise money to help this marvelous organization take a stand against domestic violence. For more information on how to volunteer or to donate fund to help their noble cause please check out their website here.

Thank you Bangor for a WONDERFUL experience! We hope to see you again next year!!
