My son is entering kindergarten in less than two weeks.
While we keep him clothed and shoed (shoed?) with fairly nice threads already, my husband and I decided that our kid should have school clothes that stay clean and separate from his let’s-run-through-mud-and-catch-frogs clothes.
So, like any reasonable person I made a list and went shopping at a local discount outlet for pants, shirts, supplies, and a few doodads for good measure. The total cost? A whopping $350. And we still need to get shoes.
Am I doing this wrong? When did school stuff get so expensive?
So, I invite you, dear readers, to chime in with your dramatic price totals, shopping tips, and commentary.
